I'm a  life-long crafter who also owns and operates Stitch DC, the District's local yarn shop, designs knit, crochet, sewn and quilted items, writes books, and manages a family of 3 kids, 1 dog and a wonderful husband.

My knitting patterns have been featured in Interweave Knits, Living Crafts, and the Stitch DC Blog.  My first knit design book, The Expectant Knitter, is available now and I'm working on two more books that will be available in 2010 and 2011.
